Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

This database holds the electronic versions of our Salem Press reference materials. Included in the collection are books on history, science, health, and careers, with titles including Defining Documents in American History, Great Events from History, Encyclopedia of Environmental Issues, Magill's Medical Guide and more. Complete articles can be accessed from the library or from home with a George Hail library card.
